The work is neuroaffirming, somatic, and paced to help you understand your nervous system rather than keep pushing through.

You may be carrying more than people see

You may look capable from the outside while internally managing exhaustion, sensory overwhelm, anxiety, shutdown, overthinking, or the feeling that everyday life takes more effort than it should.

Many clients come here after years of trying to function in ways that never quite fit. Over time, that kind of long-term overwhelm can affect more than emotional well-being. It can also show up through tension, fatigue, sleep disruption, sensory sensitivity, digestion changes, headaches, pain flares, shutdown, or feeling constantly “on.”

Therapy can offer space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and build a more sustainable way of moving through your life.

Is This You?

This work may be for you if

  • You are diagnosed, self-identifying, or questioning ADHD or autism.
  • You feel burned out from masking or overfunctioning.
  • You are sensitive to stress, noise, conflict, transitions, or emotional intensity.
  • You have felt misunderstood in past therapy.
  • You want support that includes the body, not just talking and analyzing.
  • You are open to a paced somatic approach.
The Approach

The approach

This is not therapy focused on fixing who you are.

The work centers on understanding your nervous system, your patterns, your needs, and the ways you may have learned to survive by disconnecting from yourself.

Depending on your needs, therapy may include:

    • somatic awareness
    • nervous system regulation
    • support for burnout and shutdown
    • identity exploration after late diagnosis or self-recognition
    • emotional regulation
    • boundaries and communication
    • reducing shame and self-blame

The pace is gentle; the work is purposeful.

How It Works

Neuroaffirming and somatic

Neuroaffirming therapy recognizes that autism and ADHD are not character flaws or problems to erase.

Somatic therapy brings attention to the body and nervous system: how stress shows up, how overwhelm builds, how shutdown happens, and how safety can slowly become more available.

For many neurodivergent adults, insight alone is not enough. You may already understand a lot about yourself. The harder part may be learning how to feel safe enough to live differently.
